After completing a historic run that concluded with a NCAA Championship over a very strong Texas A&M team, Tony Vitello looks to defend the title starting with the SEC's best.

Key players returning this year include INF Dean Curley, pitchers Nate Sneed, Andrew Behnke, and a healthy AJ Russell and C Cannon Peebles. Those returning players will be joined by Ole Miss transfers 3B Andrew Fischer and Liam Doyle: Louisville transfer INF Gavin Kilen; Kennesaw State pitcher Tanner Franklin and hopefully the powerful bat of North Carolina transfer Alberto Osuna.
